David Rubin financial: David Rubin financial was born in Mexico City and moved to Los Angeles, California, where he was raised. In contrast, his mother, a survivor of a Polish concentration camp, instilled strong values of perseverance in him. After spending his early years in New York, he and his family settled in Los Angeles when he was 9. These formative years shaped his character and fueled his commitment to making a meaningful impact. His work reflects this journey, which focuses on creating financial strategies that foster social change. David’s career in finance began when he attended California State University, Northridge, in 1980, studying finance. His dedication to the field led him to earn the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. This qualification laid the groundwork for his extensive career in structured finance and investment strategies. Over the years, Rubin has played a key role in affordable housing development and public service, particularly in structuring investments for governmental entities.
